What do we do?
Together We Stand: A Community Dialogue
Join us for an introduction to dialogue and the Sustained Dialogue program, followed by a community dialogue exploring the ways that participants' identities and experiences have impacted the issues and social movements they have stood for.
This event is hosted by Sustained Dialogue at MSU, the Diversity Awareness Office, Residence Life, and TRiO. The dialogue is free and open to the public.

Common Ground Retreat
We are thrilled to offer the highly popular and transformative Common Ground Retreat for the second year! All current MSU students are encouraged to apply to participate in this immersive identity retreat, which will take place over Martin Luther King Day weekend (January 13th-16th). Spend your weekend developing inclusive leadership skills, building lasting relationships, and enjoying the beauty of Montana as you explore identity issues such as race, gender, sexual orientation, and religion. Students will return to campus with a deeper understanding of their own identity, the identities of their peers, and a greater awareness of campus resources available to support students.
All transportation, lodging, and meals are free to participants! We are now accepting applications here!

"By participating in engaged dialogue, our aim is to promote holistic understanding by bridging gaps between traditionally opposing groups. Sustained conversations will encourage and embrace diversity, resulting in actions that are deliberate, thoughtful, and enduring."
